One of my former colleagues and friend now retired from the Canadian Coast Guard, Peter Dalton (aka Captain) has invited me to accompany him on a sailing trip initially from Halifax, to Picton ON. aboard his sailboat the S/V JAFTICA. This is a chronicle of the journey plus other relevant and irrelevant musings and observations. Though not completed - we only got to Pictou NS. - it was a great experience.

Sailing Onward
There is an update and new photos on Peter's Facebook and thought I would share that on the blog. Peter has returned to Nova Scotia and is enjoying the beautiful weather and sailing out of Ballantynes Cove.
